Sound familiar?
If you work in healthcare right now, some of this will sound familiar.
When you finally say it out loud, someone tells you to be more resilient or take a vacation. A week off does not undo years of running in survival mode. Your nervous system needs something you can use in the middle of the shift, while everything is still happening.

What you actually need
One
A method that calms your body and clears your head in under five minutes, between patients, before a family meeting, or in the car before you walk in the door.
Two
Small, specific limits that guard your focus and energy without turning you into the difficult one on the unit.
Three
A clear sense of why you do this work, strong enough to steady you when the day goes sideways.

Introducing
You did not train this hard to live in survival mode.
The Bootcamp is four sessions that take you from running on fumes to working with a clear head and a steady body. I built it while working full time in the ICU, and I taught it live to physicians who were where you are now. Every session is recorded, so you can start today and fit it around your shifts.
It is for physicians, nurses, NPs, PAs, residents, fellows, and anyone else carrying a clinical load. Every tool is built to work inside medicine, so feeling better does not depend on leaving it.
The four sessions
Take them in order. Each one ends with a single tool to practice before you start the next.
Session 1
Overwhelm is what happens when your brain perceives more demand than it has the resources to manage. We start by finding where yours comes from, and by giving you a reset you can run in the middle of a shift.
Workbook: Breaking the Cycle of Overwhelm
Session 2
In survival mode you handle the next thing and hope nothing catches fire. This session shows you where your energy goes across a real week and how to get some of it back.
Workbook: Energy Map Worksheet
Session 3
When everything is urgent, you lose sight of what matters. This session brings you back to center so you start the day with intention.
Workbook: The Power of Purpose
Session 4
The last session turns what you have learned into a system that holds through the next hard season, built on three moves: regulate, reframe, respond.
Workbook: Thriving Under Pressure

What working with Dr. Mousab is like
"I became less of a complainer and a more responsible person... I started doing stuff on a personal level and a professional level that I wanted to do for a long time, but I never thought I could."
Dr. Mo Salman, coaching client

About Dr. Mousab
I'm Dr. Mousab Almusaddy, a pulmonary and critical care physician. I am still practicing full time, in the same system you are working in.
From 2013 to 2020 I worked pulmonary and ICU together, close to 80 hours a week, without a break. I looked fine from the outside. Then one night, while I was charting at home after another long shift, my daughter looked up and said, "Dad, you never pay attention."
That landed harder than any difficult case. I was in the room and I was still at work. I started looking for a way to practice medicine without handing my family whatever was left over, and I tested everything on real shifts.
The Bootcamp is what held up. I teach it as a physician who uses these tools between codes and family meetings, and who still needs them.
Mousab Almusaddy, MD, FCCP. Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician. Certified High Performance Coach.
Questions
Four sessions of about an hour each, plus a few minutes a day to practice the tool from that session. Most people take one session a week.
The four teaching sessions were recorded during a live Bootcamp, so you can watch on your own schedule. Q&A office hours with Dr. Mousab are live on the first Tuesday of every month at 7 pm Central. They are not recorded.
Your access to the sessions and workbooks does not expire, and the monthly Q&A office hours continue. If you want ongoing coaching and community, Rounds Society is the monthly membership where Bootcamp graduates keep practicing, with a live coaching session with Dr. Mousab every month.
Yes. The examples come from my life as a physician, and the tools apply to anyone carrying a clinical load.
There is no cohort to keep up with and your access does not expire, so there is no behind.
No. Everything here is built for people who want to stay and stop paying for it with their health and their family.
No. This is education and coaching. If you are in crisis, please reach out to a mental health professional or a crisis line first.
You are calm under pressure and fierce when it counts. Lately you have been holding it together with caffeine and willpower, and you know that will not last another ten years.
Tools that work in the chaos, taught by someone who is still in it, will do more for you than another motivational quote.
